Taste and Value

2010 Columbia Crest H3 Les Chevaux

Yikes! It's here again with a high rating and a great price, $12 bucks.  This H3 tastes better than the 09 at a slightly higher price.

Supple and spicey with lush fruit forward with horse feathers on the end. This is a meritage of cabernet suvigon and
merlot.

Check at Costco, I've already got some at Total Wine.  Buy this by the case to lay down. This is another deal that will be heavy on restaurant sales.

2007 Casa Lapostolle Alexandre Chardonnay

This had a special article in wine spectator on the rise of this winery

Taste & Value Wine of the Week

2010 Columbia Crest H3 Chardonnay Horse Heaven

One of the best values I've seen in chardonnay without the huge oak barrel bite of normal chardonnays tasted.  Lots of honey blossoms and fig tastes with a soft finish.

Good value at $10.99 - Total Wine or Costco
